Spain On the Road Again, Cap. 02 |
|
It is an ancient farm house dated in the 18th century and a good model of the Galician rural architecture. There are three buildings: the big house, the straw loft, and a 'sunny place for drying things'. There are also two out-buildings: the granary and the barn. There is also a 'sunny place for beating and removing the gain from the straw' which is very rare in Galician nowadays. The original structure of the house and the combination of the natural elements such as: granite and wood of chesnut tree outcome into a warm and peaceful place.
